Hagens wins first ever Lion for Anne Frank House project

Last week during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2022, the Anne Frank House's The Bookcase for Tolerance received another award. And what a prize it was! In Cannes we were awarded a bronze Cannes Lion (Digital Craft).

The app The Bookcase for Tolerance tells the story of Anne Frank and of four young adults who still face anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination in the Dutch society today. Under the motto of #DontHateEducate, the Anne Frank House wants to counter this with the help of personal stories.

The campaign previously won two Webbys in the categories augmented reality and diversity, and was a five-time winner at the D&AD Awards. The bronze Cannes Lion is the absolute cherry on the cake for this special collaboration with INNOCEAN Berlin, Media.Monks, MassiveMusic and Ted Alkemade.
