Yet three quarters of Dutch SMEs with up to 50 employees are confident about the future of their organisation. That was the finding of research that HAGENS brought out for business lender New10, a subsidiary of ABN AMRO.
Research into business often focuses on corporates, while it is precisely smaller SMEs that account for a large share of employment. The research mapped their entrepreneurial ecosystem for the first time: where are the opportunities, and what is holding back growth?
